80. How can I make a tutorial?



Joe told me,
"There are two main points in relation to individual tutorials, in order to help your student improve his subject of English.
First, asking, gently provoking a response by your student.
The second important point is listening. Be tactful. Deepen into the how to improve his grades, if this learner let you help him, let you enter his interior, with his permission. When there is concern about the student, a true one, affection as well, most of times the kid let him be helped. People, persons want to be listened to, need to be listened to.
Something convenient is for a male teacher to make the tutorial with a male learner. The same thing with the other gender."

  A lot of us people want to learn a language – I teach English and keep learning it! – and we have to practice all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  For me and many of us listening may be the most difficult skill to acquire, but with practice you do improve a lot, believe me.  Anyway, today I would like to tell you especially about reading. Reading books, articles, websites. The best discipline in the classroom is one's self-discipline, and is learned and acquired by students.  One way is to be grateful, to show gratitude.  If you, teacher, thank your students for a well-done small job for example, this action serves to keep more discipline.  Some students can be rude, right, but I guess that if you thank one of them in a repeated way, day after day, he will behave a bit better. A goal. An ultimate goal we need for our lives.  Have you ever thought about that? I assume you have, for all of us ask ourselves about the goal of our life at sometime.  What’s my mission here? What are my goals? Do I have an ultimate goal? Or otherwise do I live at day, on just today?  A sensible person ought to have a final goal, oughtn’t to? Our students and their families should have an ultimate goal alike.  Some people carry out their labor fine and the remaining of a regular day as well, and offer all that to our Father God.
