1208. Having our students grow

On June 1, 2004 I copied from Rebecca Oxford, “New teaching capacities also include identifying students’ learning strategies, conducting training on learning strategies, and helping learners become more independent.” (10).

All that makes us teachers re-think upon our job as teachers, and more specifically re-reading the list of our students with an overall view of strategies, doesn’t it?

In Rebecca Oxford’s book you have a compilation of learning strategies. Maybe we could read that list of students assigning a learning strategy to each student. / Photo from: www clanme us. watering plants
