2620. How to Expand Your Vocabulary in the Foreign Language



I have at home two series of books, both ones of Harry Potter: I have all the sequels in Spanish and three in English. 

Currently I’m reading the first sequel: first a paragraph in Spanish and then in English. In that way I can understand and learn more words in English.

And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults. They don’t worry about what the native language equivalents are. They don’t mentally translate things as they’re listening or speaking. Your best bet would be to try being a little more childlike .
