1458. Learning verbal tenses in English

Teacher B said to teacher A, “The way verbal tenses or any other grammar point are learned and acquired by our students can be as follows.

First the students listen to many sentences in past simple from the teacher, who makes gestures to pinpoint and emphasize the idea of past.

Then the teacher asks some students questions to be answered in past simple.

Afterward the teacher writes on the chalkboard examples by him and by his students.

After that the students copy and invent sentences in that verbal tense, and they read them aloud for their classmates to listen to. That is a possible way, explained briefly.” / Photo from: cleaning window. www goodhousekeeping com
