1489. A useful activity: job interviewing



A specially useful activity to implement in classes for advanced learners of English or any other language is to imitate a job interview. 

The “employer” has got to think of questions a corporation or company could ask, by thinking in details of what the company is for. This student can be assisted by the clues and prompts of his teacher. 

The “employee” should prepare and plan the answers he will be asked: languages, his strong points, the weak ones, what he likes and what is easy for him to carry out, the why of his application, why he would be actually employed and not others, a resume or curriculum vitae, the way he will look and dress, some tricks to gain the employer… / Photo from: man driving truck. christianworker us
