1696. Do not educate in perfectionism

Be careful, if you’re a dad or a mom, or a teacher, when insisting to your children that they must study hard, not lose any time, be perfect, get perfect grades... Because we can catch us educating our kids in perfectionism.

It’s true and sensible that our children must study hard, etc., but they must also learn how to play with their friends, enjoy playing video-games, reading a novel or comics, doing sport, studying and learning new things, playing soccer.

These latter activities are necessary too. / Photo from: kids watching tv and father reading paper. www americaslibrary gov
