1706. What are true teachers like

Teacher and writer Daniel Pennac, farther on in his book about his years in secondary education and some other similar topics, writes about his teachers’ mastering of the school subjects, namely, math, history and philosophy.

Those three teachers were like artists, and their classes were works of art.

The students never thought of putting them to the test by means of naughty behavior. The students were abducted by their teachers’ classes, taught by those three masters.

I have mentioned this author on posts # 1703 and # 1705. His book, Chagrin d’École, is about his school days and school now. The translation of the title in my opinion could be something like The Sorrows of School, and in Spanish, actually it has been translated as Mal de escuela. / Photo from: bal-lindsey-vonn-sochi-olympics. articles baltimoresun com
