1786. Some Clues about Discipline in the Classroom

Yesterday I read in a blog something interesting about discipline and class management.

At the beginning of the academic year, or a summer course as well, establish a few rules and routines. This “lost” time will give you a longer time for teaching.

When discipline is set, use clues to keep discipline, like eye-sight clues, or soft expressions that can remind the students of the behaving they must follow.

I personally stare and gaze at the disruptive student or students, in complete silence, one that you can cut with scissors – silence can be very eloquent. Well, I write it in case it could help you.

The blog gave more points but it’s enough for today. / Photo from: El Partal Palace, Alhambra, Granada, where I live in Spain. commons wikimedia org
