1957. Learning to learn

One of the most important missions the teacher has is to teach his students how to learn. To learn and to think, as Spanish scholar and professor Bernardo Carrasco puts it.

The goal is for the students to be autonomous enough for learning.

The students should be their own motor to learn, and to think.

This isn’t contrary to the fact that the teacher has to present and explain a lot in classes.

The teacher’s goal thus is to move his students to face up with books, their textbook, the Internet, further books, think, plan. / Photo from: the statue of liberty. www mommuseum org
