Parents should get to know their children’s friends and gang. 

Kids are free to join whoever’s friendship and friends in general, but the parents cannot be naïve. 

Let’s kids talk about their plans. Let’s kids bring their friends home. Let’s parents ask and find out about the gang their son joined. 

Lest the parents and the teachers would leave the kids on their own, and join a gang of rascals, even a criminal one in a sense (I’m not exaggerating: plain truth). Birthday celebrations are a nice chance to meet their friends and talk to them. / Photo from: ginger3 www mylespaul com

And I consider that my dear students would speak in that language is the main goal, don’t you think so?  They often say sentences in class, if they are at a low level of mastering English.   One issue every teacher thinks of from time to time, or perhaps often because that teacher may have that kind of problem, above all if he or she is beginning their career as a teacher, is how to manage classroom behavior.  Today I’m trying to say something, apart from what I’ve written so far on quite many posts. Teacher B said to teacher A, “Bullying. In a school of the south of Spain where I worked for some unforgettable years we used to cut off any nuance among the students, when a few of them for example started on and teased one specific kid.  We on one side called the victim kid to talk with him and also called his parents – his tutor did this latter thing. The idea was to have the kid relax and retrieve information from him about the bullying actions he had suffered.  On the other side we summoned the suspected authors of the bullying, also to talk with them. 1485. More about necessary homework

At home the student ought to count on an atmosphere that would help him study.  Once more it’s the parents and elder siblings the ones who can provide this ambience at home.  There can be little siblings running around and all that, but the student should have a quiet room to carry out his homework, maybe with one of his brothers in the room too.  Homework and reading.  Reading can aid a lot to the kid to mature. Think of classics.  Maybe not as much as a student that attended a camp of English last summer. I was helping out with further conversations in English with each kid.
