1136. Taking in the most from a course book

Teacher A said to teacher B, “As homework you can tell your students to look through all of the unit up to the point you’ve reached in classes.

The point is for the kids to become aware of the unit as a whole, as a whole structured and ordered in a specific outline. The students may discover the unit and its goals.

Often students do not pay much attention to the way a unit is outlined or outfitted; they don’t know how to get the best they can from a course-book unit.

Autonomous learners are more aware and take in more from the unit.” / Photo from: www guardian co uk. university student looking up
