1145. How to help each and every student

Teacher B said to teacher A, “Tutoring sessions with each student is necessary, for a personal growth and for improving his grades.

At the time allotted for those interviews you can enter a colleague’s classroom and ask him whether you can pick up student C from the class. And take him for a walk or for talking to him in a quiet parlor.

Ask him questions about his school subjects, or about the weather so as to establish communication. Listen to his answers as valuable ones, albeit you think those things are childish.

A little and positive tip for you teacher is to repeat or paraphrase what he has just said. Listen to him with an honest interest.” / Photo from: www responsiveclassroom org. April 9_2012. helping students maintain positive mindsets
