Teacher A said to teacher B, “At the tutoring sessions with each student, out of the classroom, we can practice speaking. 

Speaking is essential. 

Speaking about what? Take the contents of his course book as stuff to talk about. 

Have him responding you with the grammar points of the unit you all are treating about in classes. For example present perfect. And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults. And when I start to plan a new lesson, I wonder, Okay, what should I do to really help my students learn that language?
