1064. Helping a learner with some discipline

Teacher A said to teacher B, “We teachers need the virtue of fortitude to make a correction to a student of ours.

Not always is simple to suggest to him or her something that suits that person, like for example some conducting in the classroom better for him or her, or being more attentive, or contributing with a response to prompts like a question by us about what learning strategies that person uses, etc.

Saying the truth to a person can be hard. We’ve got to be polite and firm at the same time. And not only polite, which could sound too formal or cold, but with love of benevolence to that person. Love of benevolence is looking for good to a person.” / Photo from: forcegt com. volvo road train
