1079. Why rules and discipline in the school?

Teacher A said to teacher B, “So that teacher, the girl I was telling about, says that rules and mandatory things in the school are ok, but they need an explanation why.

The students should know the why of discipline and norms.

She also says that both the teachers and the students, and their parents alike, have to learn, in the daily work and learning, the uniqueness of each and every person; it seems that rules and that stuff have to do with this concept of person.

Values and virtues grow thanks to norms and rules, she says.” / Photo from: foment edu. fomento de centros de enseñanza. Spain. The people on the picture have nothing to do with the contents of this post.
