1278. Are you going to register your children in classes of English?

Teacher B said to teacher A, “I am amazed about the following point: Why do parents of the center where I teach not realize of the necessity today of learning English?

Things are changing in Spain, and the new generations take English more seriously than their parents (who had studied French), and they register in courses to train for First Certificate of Cambridge or to obtain B1 or B2 in the Common European Framework, for example.

Why do so few parents of the center where I teach not realize that their sons should be registered in the course of English the center offers?

I am not giving vents to you readers; this is not the point. The point is that if you want to work someplace in Spain, or abroad, you should learn English.

Things are changing anyway. But many teachers of English (not all, of course) here in Spain implement a lot of translating in both directions in the classes, and that's it.

The important point is communication. The second important point is communication. The third important point is communication.

So as to finish: I am not mad [angry] in any way, just writing about what I can see.” / Photo from: sontajayanti wordpress com. teacher in classroom
