1807. Come on, You Can!

Sometimes our students get choked when we set a bit-complex homework or task. For example: make a presentation. They see to it as though it was a mountain that is going to fall upon them.

And what you’ve got to teach them (and I) is to split up the whole into achievable steps.

For the presentation: 1. Brainstorm possible topics.
2. Choose one.
3. Brainstorm ideas about the topic.
4. Select some; about other points they may have to consult the Internet.
5. Make an outline of the presentation.
6. Revise and practice by speaking yourself alone or with a listener or with a mirror or with a video camera or webcam. / Photo from: girl-watering-flowers   gardening. shecknows com
