1797. Can I Acquire English?

You can learn English or any other language, by studying, attending classes, etc., but acquiring a language is different in many aspects.

You acquire a language when that language becomes a part of yourself, something that has permeated you and you’ve interiorized it.

Toddlers acquire the mother language; they don’t learn their mother language by exams, course books, etc.

You acquire a language when the class is immersion into that language and you think in that language.

Both toddlers and adults can acquire a language, when they listen to massive input and intake – and all you say is in that language.

You acquire the language as a second nature, as part of yourself, as I said.

How to achieve acquisition? The main point, I’d say in my opinion, is attending classes where you plunge into the language, and there is immersion, and you speak in that target language (also you will use a course book, take exams, etc.)
