1958. A monument difficult to forget



One day, in a summer remedial course to train for September exams in Spain, a teacher was suffering from his students’ lack of good manners, and also from the fact that they were acting out. 

However then he realized of the picture of the Most Holy Virgin Mary on a wall of the classroom, and he felt peace inside, and won strength to carry on the rest of the class. This is as he told us. / Photo from: Tower of Pissa. The pic is an illustration, just that.

And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults. They don’t worry about what the native language equivalents are. They don’t mentally translate things as they’re listening or speaking. Your best bet would be to try being a little more childlike .
