999. A tip for teachers: the role of school

Teacher B said to teacher A, “Everyone seeks happiness, beauty, truth.

You as a teacher can play a significant role here. How?

The mission of school is not just to provide knowledge and practical aptitudes. The mission of the school is to help parents in their children’s education. It’s the parents, the family who have the unique role of educating their sons and daughters. Because of that families send their children to school: they cannot teach math, science, English, physical education, the study of the mother tongue, etc.

Parents and families ask for help to school as something subsidiary, something that helps, which is that teaching of math, grammar, etc.

Parents and families are above school, this is, in a superior level. Not any national governments can place themselves above parents and families. These latter ones have the right to choose the kind of education they wish for their sons and daughters.” / Photo from: library byways org.
