21. A Competition: It's really fun!


How to learn and use new vocabulary. First, we need two players. Everybody will want to play. So, toss a coin, face you win, tails you lose. Then, both of them, taking turns, say names of foods and drinks. The last student who said one name, he or she wins. If, say, Anne, stops too long, trying to find the treasure of a further name, let her know, "Ten seconds, Anne!" I assure you, the rest of their classmates will be staring closely at the competitors. Do it, just for fun, maybe.

We have freedom, tentatively, and by principle. First premise.  However if I skip any compromise, I can't use my freedom.  If I compromise with someone about something I must fulfill it, right?  Albeit some people think that getting married for example doesn't entail to live with your spouse for the rest of your life, I'd say that compromise is for all the lifetime of one of the spouses however.   I wrote a few days ago the following.  One more year has begun. And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults. They don’t worry about what the native language equivalents are. They don’t mentally translate things as they’re listening or speaking. Your best bet would be to try being a little more childlike .
