2038. What are "warmers"?

Warmers. They’re very necessary for the class of English, where an atmosphere of speaking–all-in-English should be created.

Because they just had math and the students need to plunge into the water of the English language.

Warmers or warm-up’s can consist of the last grammar point they’re learning now – they need practice and this exercise leads them directly into the point of grammar.

Or otherwise ask them how the weekend was or what they’re learning in science or in math, and they should translate that Spanish into English! Because if they speak in Spanish you could pretend not to understand – the point is for them to get focused into English and rope them with an English exercise. / Photo from: dave_dahl_class_052212 blogs oregonstate edu
