2004. Are our students environmental-friends?



Something we teachers have to do is to teach our students to take care of the environment, this is, to be environmental-friends. 

One example is when leading them along an excursion not to let them drop any wrapping plastics or cans. 

These lessons usually get stuck into their minds, and they could turn into a positive habit. Someone said: to give an idea and you will receive an action, to make them do an action and you will receive a habit, to give them a habit and you will receive a virtue and a value. / Photo from: planting tree www doyourpart com

And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults. And when I start to plan a new lesson, I wonder, Okay, what should I do to really help my students learn that language? They don’t worry about what the native language equivalents are. They don’t mentally translate things as they’re listening or speaking. Your best bet would be to try being a little more childlike .
