1629. What do you really mean?

Something I miss is a more ample knowledge of the pragmatics of English.

I mean, you know, that I say something, but I don’t know how it sounds to native-English people.

Phrasal verbs for example are changing their meaning sometimes, or they're gaining a new meaning. / Photo from: www baylor edu
