1338. Any chance of speaking in English

Teacher B said to teacher A, “Autonomous learners take any chance to speak in English.

Here, in Granada, there are a lot of tourists. When somebody asks me something in Spanish, in their poor Spanish sometimes, I shift to English and we carry on the conversation.

Another learner, with no enthusiasm or no commitment, I think he would not carry on the conversation in English.

The autonomous learner really wishes to learn and practice, and plunges into the water of using the target language at any moment, at any opportunity.” / Photo from: www fotosalhambra es. Torre De La Cautiva Alhambra
