1344. A sample class with the 4 skills of language

Teacher B said to teacher A, “A class with the four skills, listening, speaking, reading, writing? Life itself uses them.

For example you make a presentation about a text from the course book. They are listening. Elicit stuff about the topic; they’re speaking and listening.

Then by turns they read the text aloud. And finally respond either by written activities or by discussing the topic. As homework they can re-read the text and revise new words and idioms. Most of classes or a lot of them demand the four skills. Like life itself.” / Photo from: education jnu edu.
