1695. How to assess our students, in my opinion

We teachers of languages, like English for instance, should assess the four language skills. In written tests we can evaluate reading, writing and listening.

Nonetheless bear in mind that assessing our students’ daily performances is sensible and sound alike.

Also this is the case of assessing speaking: you can assess their daily contributions to the class, etc.

I think this shouldn’t be just math: so many positive points and negative ones.

We gain and obtain a student’s advancing and his actuations in our minds. This is, we KNOW how each kid participates, and we can get this mental image of his actions and give him a specific grade, this is, also from what we know about him. We ought to have enough discernment about his grade. / Photo from: orchestra. www ysunews com
