57. Teaching a language is service


One day Dwight once more said to Joe, "I am thinking lately that teaching is a service, it should be something else than mere fulfilling a schedule and be paid and trying to survive among people, from bow to aft, who do not want to learn." To be continued.

Me teaching at a summer program in Malaga, a few years ago. As you see, at this time my students were so few, and so advanced most of them though. I'd like to add that the chairs upside-down should be on the floor.
