If we read a simplified reader or novel in English in classes, remember that the most important thing is for them to have fun, to enjoy the reading. 

I would tell you not to make them do a lot of activities or to make a project work: the key thing now is for them to enjoy reading the book. 

They should enjoy the reading class, and look forward to reading the book.

And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults.
