2475. Making Good Use of Free Time



In Spain the academic year begins in September, and finishes in June or July. So kids have long summer vacations. They may feel bored. 

Anyway, with some effort they can solve this problem. They must be like the engine of their activities. 

They could set up activities, earn and administer some money, read educative stories and biographies of people who were an example for the young. If you want a longer list of activities, let me know.

We have freedom, tentatively, and by principle. And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults. And when I start to plan a new lesson, I wonder, Okay, what should I do to really help my students learn that language? They don’t worry about what the native language equivalents are. They don’t mentally translate things as they’re listening or speaking. Your best bet would be to try being a little more childlike .
