2360. My classes



If the students you have to teach English have a basis of that language, and they know some grammar and vocabulary, you can start classes for speaking, for aural communication. 

 This is my case. This has been my case this academic year. 

 And in the end the students were capable to speak English about a given topic, upon which we already have worked on, namely they had to make summaries of stories, as I have written on previous posts.

We have freedom, tentatively, and by principle. First premise.  However if I skip any compromise, I can't use my freedom.  If I compromise with someone about something I must fulfill it, right?  Albeit some people think that getting married for example doesn't entail to live with your spouse for the rest of your life, I'd say that compromise is for all the lifetime of one of the spouses however.   I wrote a few days ago the following.  One more year has begun. And today I’m going to let you know about something I lately do when lesson planning, in case it may help you out.  I teach English to adults. And when I start to plan a new lesson, I wonder, Okay, what should I do to really help my students learn that language?
